Melanie Clarke, M.Ac. L.Ac., ARMaine Director
melanieclarke5e@gmail.com
Melanie was first introduced to the NADA Protocol in the late 90’s as part of her acupuncture training in Baltimore and the greater Baltimore area. During that time, she provided acupuncture treatment in a variety of recovery settings. It was then that she saw the impact of the NADA Protocol and recognized it to be a profound tool in recovery. Being a part of the treatment programs in Baltimore inspired her to continue with that work after she opened her private practice in Maine in the early 2000’s. In 2018, she volunteered for the year long Milestone Recovery acupuncture program, providing the NADA Protocol for patients in an in-patient detox setting. This experience solidified her commitment to being part of the solution for those struggling with addiction in our community. She holds a Mater of Acupuncture degree and additional certifications and Chinese Herbal medicine and Feng Shui. She lives and practices acupuncture in Portland. More information about Melanie and her practice can be found on her website melanieclarkeom.com.
